Staff of the Federal Ministry of Environment shut down the ministry on Monday, over what they describe as the high handedness of the Permanent Secretary, Taiye Haruna, and his failure to release funds to improve the welfare and capacity of the staff as well as funds to buy stationeries to run the ministry.
