In a bid to bring a speedy end to the 4-month strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), President Jonathan, on Monday took over the reins of negotiation with the Union. The meeting was said to have started at 2:40pm. A 15-minute recess was taken sometime around 7pm after which the meeting was re-convened.
