Nigeria’s Debt Grows to N24.947tn in Q1

A marginal increase of N560.009 billion, representing 2.3 per cent rise in the first quarter (Q1) of 2019, has pushed Nigeria’s total public debt, comprising the federal government, states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) debt stocks to N24.947 trillion or $ 81.274 billion as at March 31, 2019, according to data from the Debt Management Office (DMO).
