56 Billion Loan: Fayose Denies Media Reports, Says His Government Did Not Borrow.
Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has described as ‘baseless’ media reports and claims by the all progressives congress in the state that his administration obtained loan facility worth over fifty six billion naira in the last three years in office.
The governor said this on Monday during an interactive meeting with civil servants in the state at the Government House, Ado Ekiti.
Governor Fayose while informing the workers of the receipt of the state share of the balance of the second tranche of Paris club refund of four point seven billion naira, called on the federal government to give the state its own share of the one billion dollars to be withdrawn from the excess crude account to fight Boko Haram, or face legal action.
