Cross River To Build Three Referral Hospitals
Cross river state government has expressed it's readiness to build three new referral specialist hospitals as part of the sustainable development goals on universal health coverage target.

The State Commissioner for Health, Inyang Asibong, stated this during the 2018 World Health day celebrations held at the medical centre of the 13 brigade of Nigerian Army, Calabar.
Asibong said the specialist hospitals when completed will key into the state health insurance scheme popularly known as Ayade Care, as part of health for all project of the scheme.
She enjoined the military personnel and their families to buy into the project as part of the state health policy.
On her part, one of the organizers of the program and a serving corps member, Dr Kemi Adenuga, urged both the military and paramilitary organizations to invest more in the health sector to enable their dependants enjoy quality health care services.
