Dickson Says His Successor Will Emerge Through Prayers, Consultations
The Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has called on the people of the state to use the Easter celebration to unite and invite God's presence for the sustenance of peace and stability of the state and country.

Governor Dickson, who spoke on the 8th edition of the Easter Cantata at the King of Glory Chapel, Government House, Yenagoa, on Sunday, also urged the people to pray for God's direction in the search for who becomes the next governor of the state.
This year's Easter celebration is not just about the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as well as God's love for mankind, but also a season for sober reflection on how far God has led the state and the Dickson administration in the past seven years in office in spite of numerous challenges.
The Bayelsa State chief executive said he is grateful to the clergy and the people of the state for their prayers and support.
