Education Minister Blames Challenges In Education System On Corruption
The minister of Education, Adamu Adamu says corruption in the immediate past administration is responsible for most of the challenges in the nation’s education system.

The minister leveled the accusation in Abuja during the inauguration of boards of parastatals and two universities under his ministry.
Mauren Paulinus is in her thirties and a teacher with one of the private schools in Abuja.
Mauren is the youngest among those on the board of the Nigerian teachers institute, having emerged the best teacher in Nigeria on three occasions.
Maureen and her board members were inaugurated alongside boards of eighteen other parastatals of two universities; the national maritime university of Nigeria and the national open university of Nigeria.
With harsh words for the immediate past administration, the education minister charged the new appointees to support the anti-corruption campaign of the Buhari government.
Members of some of the boards expressed their commitment to better the country’s education system.
Government says the inauguration of the boards is to increase efforts at transforming the nation’s education system.
