Federal Government Saves Over N200 Billion From Ghost Workers
President Muhammadu Buhari says over too hundred billion naira has so far been saved by the Nigerian government through the elimination of ghost workers from public service pay rolls.

The president broke the news at an event in Abuja, organised to mark the 2018 national productivity day.
A renowned entrepreneur, Ibuku Awosik, set the tone for the event.
It is the 17th edition of the national productivity day, which usually provides the opportunity for workers, and employers of labour to take stock of performance and recongnise excellence in service.
President Muhammadu Buhari, says there is need for citizens to imbibe the spirit of productivity in order to sustain the nation’s economic recovery momentum.
Fifteen individuals and five corporate bodies were conferred with the 2018 national productivity order of merit award.
The national productivity centre is hopeful that the annual event will encourage healthy competition among the service providers towards facilitating economic growth.
