Katsina Police Command Arrests Several Criminals, Including Five Rapists.
Following the current “Operation Diran Mikiya” to flush out Armed Bandits in Zamfara State, the Katsina State Police Command says it has succeeded in arresting several cattle Rustling Syndicates in Four Local Government Areas of Batsari, Safana, Kafur and Kankara respectively.

Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Wakili stated this while briefing Newsmen on the achievements recorded so far by the Command.
The arrests include a four-man Syndicate of suspected Notorious Rapists who are between the ages of Twenty Five and Fifty Five Years, involved in Raping Minors between the ages of four and nine years, a sixty seven year old suspected fraudster parading himself as a Retired Soldier and a twenty two year old Drug Peddler who deceives the Public by changing the Label of Cough Syrup Codeine with Vitamin B Complex Label.
While parading the Suspects, CP Muhammed Wakili allayed concerns over the growing number of Rape Cases which he attributed to Drug Abuse.
In an interview with one of the suspected Rapists, fifty five year old Abdulrasheed Dalha from Dandume Local Government Area, denied the allegation saying.
But according to the CP, the victim was taken to Funtua General Hospital for examination where the Doctor confirmed she was Raped.
As for sixty seven year old Steven Yakubu who has been parading himself as a Retired Soldier, nemesis caught up with him when he defrauded some Victims to the tune of seven hundred and forty thousand Naira on the pretext that he will secure Jobs for them in the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Immigration Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps.
Yakubu did not deny the Allegation.
The Command also arrested a suspected Drug Peddler, twenty two year old Hassan Muhammed who deceives people by changing the Label of Cough Syrup, Codeine, to that of Vitamin B Complex.
Seventy Nine bottles were found in his Possession.
The Katsina Police Boss said, one of the Banned Codeine bottles goes for between One Thousand Five Hundred and Four Thousand Five Hundred Naira.
