The Kogi state government has approved the employment of scores of youths into the state information institutions.

The Director-General Information and Grassroot Sensitization, Abdulmalik Abdulkarim who briefed journalists after the state executive council meeting said it became imperative to engage graduates and professionals to ensure a vibrant information system.
Also on the state Exco's approval list was one hundred million naira for social amenities and electrification of some communities in Kogi East.
Commissioner of Rural development, Daniels Oneal Ejigbo said the approval was part of government's plans to make life better for rural dwellers.
