The president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Ayuba Waba says labour's demand for a new minimum wage of 30 thousand naira is a resolute stand.

Labour Insists Of N30,000 Minimum Wage

The NLC leader stated this at a forum in Ado-Ekiti the Ekiti state capital, where he told journalists that state governors cannot back down on paying the wage because they consented to the decision.

He warned that workers have been instructed not to vote for any governor who goes against the 30 thousand naira minimum wage agreement.
