Nigeria Explores Partnerships With China For SMEs Development

The Nigerian government says it will continue to take steps that will further open the international market to products made in the country by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME’s.
The director general of the small and medium enterprises development agencies of Nigeria, SMEDAN, Dukko Radda who led twenty-six Nigerian entrepreneurs to china, said besides showcasing made in Nigeria products to the world, talks were ongoing on ways to assist MSMEs in Nigeria.
Other members of the Nigerian delegation explained that the SMEs cross business matchmaking activity and the Guangdong tour belt and road campaign in china has opened a business channel which is good for Nigerian SME’s.
Some of the international organisations which SMEDAN interfaced with and is likely to sign memorandum of understanding include representatives of the china small and medium enterprises fair, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, UNIDO, and officials from the various countries who attended the international event in china.
