PDP’s New Leadership Takes Over

The out gone national caretaker committee chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi has urged the new members of the PDP national working committee to take the task of rebuilding the party seriously.
Makarfi, while handing over the affairs of the party to the new national chairman, Uche Secondus, assured him of his support. He said the task before the party requires reliable and trusted men and women who can traverse the country.
He said the new NWC should not allow any member in any part of the country feel rejected, noting that every member of the party, including administrative staff, are key to rejuvenating the party.
The new national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus described the out gone members of the caretaker committee as a perfect team.
Secondus said at the time the party was faced with tremendous challenges, the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led caretaker committee stood firm to save the party.
He assured that every member of the party will be carried along in the process of rebuilding the party.
Secondus said the party under his leadership will never be distracted by the threats of the ruling APC.
