Police Lay Siege To Dino Melaye’s House
Police laid siege to the Abuja resident of Kogi west Senator Dino Melaye on Monday afternoon

The policemen numbering above twelve in 2 official vehicles arrived Dino Melayes’s Maitama residence.
The police operatives refused to speak with journalist, but allowed people in and out of the house.
The siege came after immigration officials stopped Senator Dino Melaye from traveling out of the country on Monday morning.
The Senator Representing Kogi West at the Senate was stopped at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport in Abuja by immigration officers who said his name is on a flight ban list forwarded to them by the police.
The senator immediately twitted, that he had been arrested and prevented from traveling for official duties.
Soon after, the senator told journalist that he was only prevented from traveling and not arrested and that he was back in his Abuja home.
On its part, the police denied arresting the senator.
Senator Dino Melaye has been involved in a running battle with the police who said they arrested some suspects with arms who said they were working for the senator, an allegation he denied.
