Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says government's focus on the diversification of the economy is gradually yielding results.

Professor Osinbajo who said this after an inspection tour of locally manufactured products on display at the SME conference 2017 in Abuja on Thursday, noted that government will continue to make the business environment in the country easy for investors.

He explained that the executive orders issued in May 2017 to facilitate the ease of doing business are beginning to impact positively on the economy.

The vice president said hidden opportunities hitherto unexplored by Nigerians are now being accessed.

He pledged the federal government's commitment to strengthen existing structures that will make the diversification agenda a success while also exploring new areas.
